In early 2010 Karma Kites rolled out a new hybrid surf kite called The Prophet. As the lead designer I created a variety of custom designs and technical illustrations for The Prophet which utilized all the newest technologies available to the kiteboarding industry. Working with technical engineers in Hong Kong I produced a series of concept sketches for the product and graphics in addition to designing all identity and marketing collateral. Pattern design and graphics were tailored to compliment the construction specifications of the product. High quality Dacron and Nylon Ripstop were used for the construction of the kite. Designs were tailored to respective sizes available – 8m, 9m, 10m, 12m, and 14m.
